WARNING Use only as directed. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin. Always wear gloves. Avoid eye contact; may irritate skin or eyes. If contact occurs, rinse with water and seek medical advice if needed.
Read all instructions carefully before use. Perform an Allergy Patch Test: apply a small amount behind your ear and wait 24 hours. Mild itching (10–20 min) is normal; if severe itching or burning continues, do not use.
Before you begin, prepare: gloves, cape/old shirt, bowl, brush, shower cap/plastic wrap, blow dryer, flat iron (up to 450°F), large clips, fine-tooth comb, optional heat-resistant comb. Work in a ventilated area and follow only the instructions provided with this product.
Step 1 - Clarifying Shampoo:
Wash hair twice with clarifying shampoo. Rinse, blow-dry 90% with medium heat. Note: Hair may be harder to comb, which is normal.
Step 2 - Application
(Easy Method): Wear gloves; apply treatment from root to tip. Use a fine-tooth comb for even distribution. Massage into hair, avoiding the scalp. Loop hair on top of your head, cover with plastic wrap or shower cap, and wait. Wait 90 minutes for dark hair, 60 minutes for blondes and reds.
Do not heat hair during waiting time.
Salon Method (Takes Longer, Saves Product, Better Coverage): Wear gloves, use a coloring brush, apply treatment while massaging into the hair section by section. Avoid contact with scalp. Loop hair on top of your head, cover with plastic wrap or shower cap, and wait. Wait 90 minutes for dark hair, 60 minutes for blondes and reds.
Do not heat hair during waiting time.
Step 3 - Rinse and Blow Dry:
Wear gloves, remove cover, squeeze excess product, and rinse until no blue color remains (do not excessively rinse). Towel dry and then blow-dry 90% with high heat. TIP: Using a round brush or thick comb will make the next step much easier.
Note: Hair may feel oily; this is normal and essential for smoothing.
Step 4 - Flat Ironing:
Separate hair into 3 groups; Left, Right, and Back. Iron small strands to seal hair properly according to the chart below. Start ironing the hair using small strands. Important to do small strands and not large groups because the flat iron will not seal the hair properly (See Table below). Start from the lower back and work upwards. When done, wait 20 minutes for hair to cool before washing with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. Alternatively, hair can also be washed up to a few hours later.
That's all, enjoy your hair.
